The mission of Union Hill Methodist Church is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ through worship, fellowship, and service. We are dedicated to sharing the love and hope of Christ with our community and the world, fostering spiritual growth, and empowering individuals to live out their faith. With a heart for global outreach, we strive to be a beacon of light and compassion, meeting both physical and spiritual needs, and working together to build a kingdom that reflects God’s love, justice, and grace.

Union Hill Global Methodist Church believes in the foundational principles of the Christian faith, grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the authority of Scripture. We hold to the belief in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and affirm the power of grace, salvation, and redemption through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in the importance of living out the gospel through love, service, and justice, following the example of Christ in caring for others, especially the marginalized and those in need. As part of the Global Methodist Church, we are committed to a traditional understanding of biblical authority, the practice of holy sacraments (baptism and communion), and the mission of making disciples. We value fellowship, spiritual growth, and reaching out to transform lives both locally and globally.

Blessings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! At Union Hill Methodist Church, a Global Methodist Church congregation, we seek to fulfill our calling as members of the Body of Christ to show the love of God to each other and to our neighbors in the greater Hiawassee area. We come together weekly to worship God, to study God’s Word, and to “spur each other on to love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24). We come together to encourage each other, to pray for each other, and to discern together ways we can reach out to our hurting world with the Good News of the Gospel. We are a family—not perfect, but nevertheless a family striving to live into John Wesley’s understanding of continuous growth in Christian love. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, together we seek to be the kind of congregation God has called us to be, and we would love to have you join us.
