As Global Methodists, the motivation to help the needy stems from the teachings and example of Jesus Christ, who emphasized love, compassion, and service to others, particularly the marginalized and vulnerable. Methodism has a rich tradition of social justice and a commitment to alleviating suffering, which is expressed through acts of charity, advocacy, and community service. The Bible speaks repeatedly about caring for the poor, widows, orphans, and strangers.
As Global Methodists, studying the Bible is central to our faith and spiritual growth. The Bible is considered the inspired Word of God, providing guidance, wisdom, and revelation about God’s will for our lives. Studying the Bible is an act of devotion and obedience. It deepens our understanding of God, nurtures our spiritual lives, and empowers us to live out our faith in meaningful ways. It helps us grow as disciples of Christ, bringing His light to the world, through God's word.
As Global Methodists, our church serves the community as we believe in living out the teachings of love, compassion, and service that Jesus demonstrated. By helping those in need, offering support, and building meaningful relationships, we strive to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Serving the community allows us to be a reflection of God's love, offering hope, comfort, and help to those who may be struggling, while fostering a spirit of unity and togetherness.

Welcome to Union Hill Methodist Church!
We come together weekly to worship God, to study God’s Word, and to “spur each other on to love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24). We come together to encourage each other, to pray for each other, and to discern together ways we can reach out to our hurting world with the Good News of the Gospel. We are a family—not perfect, but nevertheless a family striving to live into John Wesley’s understanding of continuous growth in Christian love. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, together we seek to be the kind of congregation God has called us to be, and we would love to have you join us.

Daphne created a beautiful nature inspired mural for our learning center that brightened our space and embodied our culture. Her work was the final piece of tying our vision together. She was incredibly patient and detailed in the creation process. What I appreciate most is that she listened to our needs and clarified our expectations ensuring that the process was smooth and most of all beautiful!
